My background started over a decade ago in architecture and design journalism. Writing about architecture and design taught me to look beyond surface-level aesthetics and understand the deeper systems, narratives, and cultural signals that shape relevance. It developed my ability to recognize patterns, identify blind spots, and understand what gives brands distinction beyond appearance.
That perspective was further sharpened through hands-on experience inside design brands themselves. Working at Swedish brand Hem for 3 years gave me insight into how globally recognized brands maintain cohesion across communication, strategy, and visual identity at scale. Throughout my 5 years of leading AOOMI, a female-owned internationally recognized ceramic brand I reshaped how the brand expresses itself and created many meaningful communication moments, leaving it with a strong brand DNA and clear instructions to follow in order to uphold its spirit.
This combination of editorial insight and operational experience allows me to help brands bridge a critical gap: aligning internal vision with external perception. For clients, this means more than creative direction alone. It means gaining a strategic partner who can help identify where brand expression feels fragmented, where communication lacks clarity, and where stronger cohesion can create deeper recognition and trust.
